Yohji Yamamoto is a world-renowned fashion designer and visionary known for his tailoring and avant-garde, otherworldly designs. Born in Tokyo in 1943, he first pursued a career in law which he then stopped to help his mother's dressmaking business. He is now based in Tokyo and Paris and is widely recognised for his unique aesthetic and distinct Japanese style.
