Mohsin Ali graduated from the London College of Fashion in 1999 with a first-class honours degree before working for some of the world's biggest fashion designers. He then trained in menswear design before creating his own label, launching his debut collection for the AW13 season. His clothing focuses on three key principles: form, fabric and function. He continues to draw inspiration from his graduate collection which contained unfinished garments detailed with stitched finishes and raw fabrications using a muted colour palette, and pays homage to designers such as Yohji Yamamoto and Issey Miyake with oversized shapes and intricate tailoring.
